Editing a 'Reissue ticket' transaction fee rule

This topic explains how to edit a Reissue Ticket transaction fee rule, and is also included in the process of creating a new transaction fee rule.

The Reissue ticket transaction fee is applied when importing a PNR from the GDS with a reissued ticket. With Sabre this is through the ENS or using the From PNR tool, and with Amadeus or Amadeus Webservices a reissued ticket can be imported using the GDS to TB tool.

If you are in the process of creating a new transaction fee rule, skip to step 3.

1. Search for the transaction fee rule that you want to edit.

2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the transaction fee rule you want to edit.

The transaction fee rule is displayed.



3. In the Parameters section, in the Event field, select Reissue Ticket.

4. In the Service Type field, select Flight.

5. Define the transaction fee parameters.

Field	Description
From Date	The beginning of the transaction fee validity date range.
To Date	The end of the transaction fee validity date range.
Class name	The class name.
Number of legs	The number of legs in the flight.
Ticketing airline	The ticketing airline.
Source	The reservation system of the booking.

More specific transaction fee rules override general transaction fee rules.

Click here for a detailed example. If you have a Reissue Ticket rule for 5 USD that applies to all flight services, and a Refund Application rule for 10 USD that applies to flight services ticketed by BA, when adding a flight service ticketed by BA, the 10 USD transaction fee is charged.

6. In the Origin and/or Destination fields, define the origin and/or destination the rule applies to. These can be a Country Region, or City.

Click here for more information. More specific conditions override more general conditions - city, region and then country. You cannot create a rule for specific airports, only cities If you only select an Origin or only select a Destination, the rule applies to all destinations from the origin or all origins to the destination. For example, you can create a rule from LON to all destinations. The destination is the transaction destination, not the leg destination. For example: You have two Reissue Ticket transaction fees: From Israel to Europe: $50 From Israel to USA: $40 If you have a flight TLV-LON, LON-NYC, NYC-LON, LON-TLV With this flight the From Israel to USA transaction fee rule is used because New York is the flight destination and not London. You could also apply to this flight From Israel to New York and From Israel to North America rules.

7. If you want a tax invoice to be issued automatically when the transaction fee is added to a travel file, select Automatically issue tax invoice.

8. Click Save and Exit, or continue to select the transaction fee description.
