Creating a standard bundled package

This topic explains how to create a new standard bundled package.

A standard bundled package is comprised of flights and hotels. The components of the package are taken from the content sold through the Reservations System.

  1. Go to Products – Bundling Wizard.

  2. Click Click here to add a new Item.

    A New Item page opens.

  3. In the Name field, enter the name of the package. When creating a new package this is a mandatory field.

  4. In the Markup section, in the Default markup field, enter a default markup to apply to all the flight combinations and click Copy to all matrix. The link Copy to all matrix is enabled only when a flight matrix exists.

  5. In the Destination field, select the Destination of the package. This is a mandatory field.

  6. In the Travel File Attributes field, select the travel file attribute that applies to the package.

  7. In the Validity section:

    1. In the Booking Date and Until fields, define the date range in which the bundled package can be reserved.

    2. In the Departure Date and Until fields, define the date range for the bundled package departure.

      3. The departure date is:

      • Always the date of the first actual departure.

      • The date used for day one of the bundled package.

  8. Add flights:

    1. Select the airline to include in the bundled package

    2. Add flights to the bundled package: according to general parameters or select specific flights.

  9. Add hotels to the bundled package according to general parameters and/or select specific hotels.

  10. Optional: Link the bundled package to a group travel file.

  11. Click Save.

  12. B2C: Create a widget for the bundled package.
