The Bundling Wizard allows you to create bundled packages that are comprised of components from multiple sources (internal contracts, online interfaces, and GDS).
There are three types of bundled packages:
Standard: Flight and hotel packages
Event led: The package is built around a specific activity, such as the formula and is comprised of an activity, hotels, and flights (which can be removed). The event-led package can be sold via mobile phones.
Fly and drive: Flight and car rental package.
The bundling wizard can be used to build packages around specific events. You can also use the bundling wizard to sell seats on distressed flights by specifying which flights and classes are included in the package.
The bundled package is a flexible package, allowing you to define general parameters for which flights and hotels or cars are included in the package, or define specific hotels and flights to include.
The pricing of the package is based on markup. Separate default markup values are defined for the flight, and hotel or car components. These markup values can be adjusted for specific flight combinations and specific hotels.
