Adding hotels to a bundled package according to general parameters

This topic explains how to add hotels to a bundled package according to general parameters, and is also included in the process of creating both a standard bundled package, and an event-led bundled package.

If you are in the process of creating a bundled package, skip to step 3.

  1. Search for the bundled package you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the bundled package.

    The bundled package is displayed.

  3. In the Hotel expander, define the parameters for including hotels in the bundled package:

    The parameters you enter in this section, determine which hotels are displayed in the Reservations System, in the search results. If you do not enter anything all available hotels in the destination are displayed.

    1. In the Destination field, select the hotel Destination. This should be the same destination as the package. This is a mandatory field.

    2. In the Supplier field, select a hotel supplier.

      3. If the supplier returns hotels from other reserving suppliers, leave the option as All.

    3. In the Location field, select the hotel location.

    4. In the Attribute field, select the hotel service attribute.

    5. In the Category field, choose how many stars the hotel needs to have.

    6. In the Facilities column, select the facilities that need to be included in the hotel.

  4. In the Duration section, in the Start on day no. field, enter the day number of the bundled package for the check-in day. By default this is the day of the departure flight, i.e. 1.

  5. In the No. of nights field, enter the minimum number of  nights for staying at the hotel.

    6. If the duration is larger than the amount of days between flights the number of nights is determined according to the flights.

    For example: The return flight is five days after the departure flight, but the duration is ten days. Therefore, the hotel duration automatically becomes five days, i.e. a partial stay is done automatically.

  6. In the Markup section, in the Default Markup field, enter the default markup for all hotels sold through the package.

    7. The markup can be a percentage or a fixed amount per person booking the package. The amount is in the package currency.

  7. If you want the default markup to be applied to the selling prices of hotel contracts instead of the supplier prices, select Mark up internal contract selling prices.

  8. Click Save and Exit.
