The Hotel Details tab contains information on the hotel reservation details. The tab is divided into four sections:
General Details
Dates
Reservation
Address and Phones
If the hotel transaction is created from a GDS, interface or internal contract, the information in this tab is entered automatically by the system when the transaction is created. If you are creating a manual hotel transaction, you will need to enter this information manually. The fields highlighted in red are mandatory.
The General Details section contains general information on the hotel reservation.

Hotel name |
Mandatory. The hotel name. The hotel details are saved in the system’s database. You can search for existing hotels using the Select button. |
Destination |
Mandatory. The hotel destination. The destination is taken from the Destinations table saved in the system (Administration Tools – Setup - Destinations). |
Location |
The hotel location in the destination. The location is taken from the Locations table saved in the system (Administration Tools – Setup - Locations). |
Category |
The hotel category. The category is taken from the Categories table saved in the system (Administration Tools – Setup - Categories). |
Price Level |
The hotel price level, such as standard room, deluxe, seaside view, etc. The price level is taken from the Price Levels table saved in the system (Administration Tools – Setup – Price Levels). |
Board Base |
The hotel board basis. The board basis is selected from a hardcoded list saved in the system. When reserving rooms with different boardbases, the Boardbase is Mixed. |
Reserved through |
Mandatory. The supplier through which the reservation was made. You need to select a supplier from the list of hotel suppliers saved in the system. |
Service Provider |
The supplier providing the service, usually the hotel itself. You need to select a supplier from the list of hotel suppliers saved in the system. |
The Dates section contains the check-in and check-out dates and times.
Once a user enters the check-in date, and selects the number of nights the passengers are staying at the hotel, the check-out information is automatically calculated and added by the system.
The Reservation section contains information on the reservation details of the transaction, including the transaction status, the supplier’s reservation number, the name of the person who confirmed the reservation, and if applicable, the time limit provided by the supplier for cancelling the reservation.

The Address & Phones section contains information on the hotel’s address, and phone and fax numbers.
