In order to work with travel agents/corporate clients in the system, you need to create for each individual travel agent/corporate client a separate account in which you define the travel agent/corporate client profile.
The travel agent/corporate client account includes general information on the company, including contact persons, phone number and an e-mail address for receiving e-mails messages sent by the system.
In this account you define the payment terms and create a credit limit for the travel agent/corporate client. You can define that separate invoices be issued for services and transaction fees.
You can also separate between the travel agent/corporate client making the reservation and the travel agent/corporate client paying for the transaction.
Travel agents/Corporate clients can be grouped together using Markets. By grouping travel agents/corporate clients together, you can define business rules that apply to the entire group, and create reports and gather business intelligence on all the travel agents/corporate clients in the market.
Some travel agents/corporate clients attach huge significance to the type of information that is imported from the PNR into the travel file, such as cost center, and budget number. In the travel agent/corporate client account you can define which information needs to be imported. This information will appear on invoices, and reports.
In the travel agent/corporate client account, you have the option of providing access to a dedicated website (b2b). In this website, depending on the authorization level, travel agent/corporate client users can perform the following actions:
Search for services and make reservations
View reservations
View invoices
If the travel agent is a general sales agent (GSA) all travel agents that are served by the same branch will be considered sub-agents of the GSA. A GSA can use the B2B selling channel to transfer payments to its sub-agents using credit notes.
