Creating a new travel agent/corporate client

This topic explains how to create a new travel agent/corporate client account.

A new travel agent/corporate client account is created using the following five expanders:

Optional Requirements

  1. Go to SetupBusiness Environment - Travel Agent/Corporate Client Accounts.

  2. Click Click here to add a new Travel Agent/Corporate Client.

    A New Item page opens.

  3. In the Company Information expander, in the Company name field, enter the name of the travel agent/corporate client.

  4. Mandatory: In the Account Currency field, select the currency in which the account is managed.

    You can add a new currency, by clicking <New Currency...>

    Once financial documents (invoice, receipt, transfer receipt, etc.) have been issued for the travel agent/corporate client, you will no longer be able to change the Account Currency. If you need to change the currency, you are going to need to create a new travel agent/corporate client account with the new currency.

  5. In the The Company is a field, select whether the account is for a Travel agent or Corporate client.

  6. This setting affects whether the travel agent/corporate client receives commissions or reductions in both the Reservations System user interface and on documents, regardless of the system mode selected in the Database Definitions.

  7. Enter the company details:

    1. Enter the company and contact information

    2. Enter the  financial details

  8. Enter the payment terms.

    1. Set up a credit limit

    2. Define the payment details

    3. Define the conditions for issuing invoices

    4. If relevant, attach a separate paying company to the travel agent/corporate client

    5. If relevant, create separate installment fee terms

    6. If relevant, enable the other payment method

  9. Set up the internet permits for the travel agent/corporate client to provide them with access to the B2B selling channel.

  10. Enter additional information relevant to the account:

    1. The travel agent/corporate client type

    2. The markets to associate with the travel agent/corporate client account

    3. The branch that is attached to the travel agent/corporate client account

    4. The logo that is printed on documents issued to the travel agent/corporate client

    5. Rules for mapping data between a Sabre PNR and the travel file

    6. Rules for mapping data between an Amadeus PNR and the travel file
