Business Rules - Passenger Travel Policy - New Item

This page is used to define a passenger travel limit.

A passenger travel limit definition includes three entities:

1. the passenger profile to which the limit is applied (an individual passenger or group of passengers)

2. the service parameters to which the limit is applied (for a flight, hotel, or car)

3. the limit to place on the service

The limit defined will be placed on the service only when the travel file matches the criteria defined both in the passenger profile and service parameters.

Define a passenger travel limit for a car

To define a new passenger travel limit for a flight

1. Go to Business Rules – Passenger Travel Policy.

2. Click New Item.

   The New item page is displayed.

3. Define the passenger profile to which the passenger travel limit will be applied:

1. In the Travel Agent/Corporate Client field, select the travel agent/corporate client from the drop-down list. This is a mandatory field.

2. Define one of the following fields:

• Select Passenger Attribute and the name of the passenger attribute from the drop-down list or

• Select Passenger Name and enter part (first letters) or all of the passenger's last name and click Find. From the results, select the passenger and click Find.

4. Define the flight service parameters:

1. In the Service Type field, select Flight from the drop-down list.

2. Define one or more of the following fields:

Field	Description
Origin	Select the departure airport of the flight from the drop-down list.
Destination	Select the destination airport of the flight from the drop-down list.
Supplier	Select the airline carrier from the drop-down list.
Mileage (minimum)	Enter the minimum mileage of the flight.
Duration (minimum)	Enter the minimum duration of the flight in hours.
From Service Date	Select the beginning of the service start date range.
To Service Date	Select the end of the service start date range.

5. Define the limit to place on the flight:

1. Define one or both of the following fields:

Field	Description
Class Name	Select the class name from the drop-down list.
Price (maximum)	Enter the maximum price of the flight. When using this field, select the relevant Currency from the drop-down list.

6. Click Save.

To define a new passenger travel limit for a hotel

1. Go to Business Rules – Passenger Travel Policy.

2. Click New Item.

   The New item page is displayed.

3. Define the passenger profile to which the passenger travel limit will be applied:

   1. In the Travel Agent/Corporate Client field, select the travel agent/corporate client from the drop-down list. This is a mandatory field.

   2. Define one of the following fields:

   1. • Select Passenger Attribute and the name of the passenger attribute from the drop-down list or

      • Select Passenger Name and enter part (first letters) or all of the passenger's last name and click Find. From the results, select the passenger and click Add.

4. Define the hotel service parameters:

   1. In the Service Type field, select Hotel from the drop-down list.

2. Click New Item.

2. Define one or more of the following fields:

Destination	Select the car pickup destination from the drop-down list.
Supplier	Select the car supplier from the drop-down list.
From Service Date	Select the beginning of the service start date range.
To Service Date	Select the end of the service start date range.

5. Define the limit to place on the car:

1. Define one or both of the following fields:

Field	Description
Category	Select the car category from the drop-down list.
Price (maximum)	Enter the maximum price of the car. When using this field, select the relevant Currency from the drop-down list.

6. Click Save.
