Products - Self-Operation Flights - Information

The Information tab is the first tab used when adding a new self-operated flight.

To define the Information tab

  1. Define the flight details (all mandatory):

    1. In the Origin field, select the origin of the self-operated flight from the drop-down list.

    2. In the Destination field, select the destination of the self-operated flight from the drop-down list.

    You can enter the airport terminal for both Origin and Destination. The Terminal field is not mandatory.

    1. In the Departure Date & Time fields, select the departure date and enter the departure time of the self-operated flight.

    In the Duration field, you can enter the flight duration. The Duration field is not mandatory.

    1. In the Arrival Date & Time fields, select the arrival date and enter the arrival time of the self-operated flight.

    2. In the Carrier  field, select the airline carrier of the self-operated flight from the drop-down list.

    3. A carrier only appears in this drop-down list, if the following two conditions exist:

      1. A IATA code is defined for the supplier (carrier).

      2. The flight service is defined for the supplier (carrier).

    4. In the Flight No. field, enter the number of the self-operated flight.

    5. The Carrier and Flight No. fields are not mandatory for modular flights.

  2. In the Flight Mode section:

    1. Select whether the self-operation flight is a Regular Flight or a Modular Flight.

    2. If you select Modular Flight, the option Flight is operated without profit mechanism becomes selected and disabled.

    3. If you do not want the self-operation flight to appear in the search results, select Hidden Flight.

  3. In the Passenger list report section:

  1. Select the format from the drop down menu next to Format.

  2. If you want to report all passengers, select Report all Passengers.

  1. In the Properties section:

    1. Enter the Departure tax and Arrival tax.

    2. In the Equipment Type field, enter the flight equipment.

    3. If relevant, in the Infant Limitation field, enter the limit on the number of infants.

    4. In the Status field, select the status of the self-operation flight. You can choose between the following status options: Adjustable, Cancelled, Final, Ticketing allowed, Not for sale or Not Final.

    5. To mark reservations for seats on this flight as Request beginning on the date selected, select a date in the Sell on WL from date field.

    6. To not include this flight in flight query results, select No Sale.

    7. To display the status of seats on this flight as Waiting List, select Waiting List.

  2. Define the flight's mode of operation:

  1. Source: Below the Group PNR field, there is a field called Source where you can choose the GDS from a dropdown list. This way, the group PNR number and the GDS name are saved for each reservation. When the self-operation flight is ticketed, the service is updated with the exact flight cost, together with the ticket numbers.

  2. Enter remarks on the ticket in the Ticket Remark field.

  3. Enter general remarks that are presented to the booking agent in the General Remark field.

Both Ticket Remark and General Remark are displayed in the Reservation System.

Display Seat Status (Supplier, commitment and allotment) of self-operated flight displayed on page.  

Track Changes

Click to open a Track Changes dialog box in which you can search for changes made in the Information tab of the self-operation flight.

View Class Actions

View a log of the actions executed in the Classes tab.

Passenger List

Select Passenger list report to display the passenger list for the flight.

Select SITA format to send the passenger list in SITA format to the user logged in to the system and to the carrier defined in the Information tab.

Select Export Names to export the passenger list as a *.csv file

Select Excel File to export the passenger list as an Excel file.
