Business Rules - User/Freelancer Incentive - Incentive Definitions - New Item

The User/Freelancer Incentive - Incentive Definitions - New Item page, which is part of the Incentives Management mechanism, is used for creating a new user/freelancer incentive rule. To create a user/freelancer incentive rule, you need to define the following information.

  1. Recipient: You need to define the incentive for a user/user type/branch. This incentive applies to all travel files opened by that user/user type/branch. If you do not define anything, the incentive is awarded to all users.

  2. Incentive Type: You need to define the type of rule you are a creating, for a Service Type, a Transaction Fee, or a Travel File. The incentive type affects the parameters and amount settings that can be define for the rule. For example, if the incentive type is defined for a travel file, the only parameters that can be applied are the type of travel file (direct sale, and corporate client/market), and a fixed amount to be granted for each travel file opened.

  3. Parameters: You need to define the parameters according to which the incentive is granted. For example, if the travel file is opened for a specific agent or corporate client, if the transaction is for a specific supplier, or if the transaction is to a specific destination. If you do not define anything, the incentive applies to all transactions.

  4. Amount:  You need to define the incentive amount or percentage. If the incentive is a percentage, you need to define up to three incentive levels, and whether or not the amounts are cumulative. For a percentage, you can also define minimum and maximum amounts.
