To access and perform actions in this module: Assign the permit Perform actions in User/Freelancer Incentive module |
The User/Freelancer Incentive module, which is part of the Incentives Management mechanism, is used for defining rules that determine how incentives are awarded to users and freelancers. The incentive can be a percentage or a fixed amount and is defined according to various criteria including service type, service dates, transaction fee, travel file, product, and destination.
In the Reservations System, in the travel file, the incentive is awarded to the user or freelancer when a voucher is issued for the transaction. The incentive amount is determined according to the rules in this module. However, the calculation of the actual amount to be granted to each user and freelancer is done in the User/Freelancer Reconciliation module.
This module is divided into two tabs:
Incentive Definitions: Used for viewing and creating user/freelancer incentive rules
General Definitions: Used for creating an incentive for additional markup. This definition applies to all users/freelancers and all service types.
In the Incentive Definitions tab, the search section is used to find existing incentive rules.
The results section of the tab displays incentive rules matching the search criteria defined.
The column headers in the results section include all the parameters (product, price level, destination, etc.) by which an incentive can be defined.
The Incentive column displays the incentive amount or percentage to be given to a user/freelancer who meets the defined rule.
More specific rules override general rules.
