Adding a pre-accommodation hotel service to a static package

This topic explains how to add a pre-accommodation hotel service to a static package, and is also included in the process of creating a new static package.

If you are in the process of creating a new static package, skip to step 4.

  1. Search for the static package you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the static package.

    The Details tab of the static package is displayed.

  3. Select the Services tab.

  4. Access the Additional Services expander.

  5. In the row beneath Pre-Accommodation, click Click here to add a new Item.

    The Product List page is displayed.

    1. Enter the relevant search parameters for the general contract, and click Find.

      2. Parameter

      Description
      Destination The destination of the hotel contract. This is a mandatory field.

      Name

      The contract name

      Supplier

      The supplier of the hotel contract

      Category

      		 The category of the hotel contract

      Price Level

      		 The price level of the hotel contract

      Hotel contracts matching the search criteria are displayed in the results section.

      Results include both regular and package rates. If the hotel contract has a regular rate and a package rate for the same price level, only the package rate is included in the results. If there is no package rate defined in the system, the regular is used.

    2. Click the Plus icon + in the row of the required hotel.

    3. In the Number of nights field, select the number of nights for the pre-accommodation.

      4. For Example:

      If the package accommodation begins on day 3 of the static package and the outbound flight arrives two days earlier, the pre-accommodation can begin on day 1 or day 2 of the static package for one or two nights respectively.

      The number of nights must not exceed the number of nights between the day on which the inbound flight arrives and the first night of the package accommodation.

    4. If required, update the check-in and check-out times for the hotel.

    5. In the Board basis field, select the relevant board basis for the pre-accommodation.

    6. Click Done.

    7. Click Close at the bottom of the list.

      8. The pre-accommodation is entered into the Additional Services expander as an Included service.

      You can delete an existing pre-accommodation hotel service with the Delete icon .

  6. Click Save and Exit,

    OR,

    Continue to add additional services to the static package,

    OR,

    Continue to add markup to the selling price of the static package.
