Adding markup to the selling price of a static package

This procedure explains how to add markup to the selling price of a static package,  and is also included in the process of creating a new static package.

If you are in the process of creating a new static package, skip to step 3.

  1. Search for the static package you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the static package.

  3. The Details tab of the static package is displayed.

  4. Select the Prices tab.

  5. The first time a user selects the Prices tab, the price list is calculated automatically based on the services that are added in the Services tab.
  6. In the General Definitions expander:

    1. In the MarkUp field, enter the amount of markup percentage to add to the cost price of each price component.

    2. In the Markup for additional nights field, enter the amount of markup percentage to add to the cost price of each price component for an additional night beyond the duration of the static package.

    3. This option is displayed only if Additional nights permitted is selected in the Services tab.
    4. If required, in the Agent Commission field, enter the amount of commission percentage paid to agents working with your company.

    5. To round the prices in the price list, select Selling price rounding, and choose one of the following rounding policies:

  7. To apply the desired markup, agent commission and rounding policy, which forms the selling price of the price list that is currently selected in the Price Lists expander, click Calculate this price list.

  8. To apply the desired markup, agent commission and rounding policy to all the price lists in the static package, click Calculate all price lists.

    The selling prices are updated accordingly.

  9. Click Save and Exit or continue to edit the price list in the static package.
