The Manual Messages tab is used for creating manual messages which can be sent as text messages and/or e-mail messages to customers from the travel file, and when sending invoices, receipts and itineraries. You can create separate messages for each customer language.
In the travel file, the message content is initialized from the Messaging Definitions module and can be customized by the user.
The content of the manual messages can contain specific strings which are replaced with travel file and transaction data. For example, "Dear {First name} {Last name} becomes "Dear Allan Banks."
Each message sent from the travel file is saved as a communication record.
