Sending a manual message from a travel file

This topic explains how to send manual text messages from a travel file.

  1. In the travel file header, click Print, and select Send Text Message.

  2. The Send Text Message dialog box is displayed.

    3. By default the first passenger in the travel file, their phone number, and a manual message from the Messaging Definitions module are initialized in the dialog box.

  3. Edit the fields in the dialog box as necessary.

  4. To send the text message to the customer, click Send.

    5. The message is saved as a communication record in the travel file.
