Adding additional transfers to a static package

This topic explains how to add additional transfers to a static package, and is also included in the process of creating a new static package. Additional transfers can only be added to static packages that have more than one destination.

You can define the number of destinations in the General Definitions of the static package. However, the number of destinations cannot be changed if accommodations have been defined for the static package.

The transfers are for hotel to hotel, and you will need to manually define the transfer dates when adding them. The transfer service is a contract defined in Products - Contracts. Additional transfers are included in the selling price of the static package.

If you are in the process of creating a new static package, skip to step 4.

  1. Search for the static package you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the static package.

    The Details tab of the static package is displayed.

  3. Select the Services tab.

  4. Access the Additional Services expander.

  5. In the row beneath More Transfers, click Click here to add a new item.

    6. The Product List window is displayed.

    1. Enter the relevant search parameters for the transfer, and click Find.

      Mandatory. The destination of the transfer contract.

      Name

      The contract name

      Supplier

      The supplier of the transfer contract

      Category

      The category of the transfer contract

      Price Level

      The price level of the transfer contract

      From-To

      The transfer routing

      Transfer contracts matching the search criteria are displayed in the results section.

      Results include both regular and package rates. If the contract has a regular rate and a package rate for the same price level, only the package rate will be included in the results.

      The transfers have to be defined (in the routing of the transfer contract) as From: Hotel, To: Hotel

    2. In the row of the required transfer, click the Plus icon + .

    3. Select the Start Date of the transfer.

    4. Enter the start time of the transfer.

    5. Select the End Date of the transfer.

    6. Enter the end time of the transfer.

    7. Click Done.

    8. If required, add more transfers, by repeating steps b-g.

    9. Click Close at the bottom of the list.

      10. The transfers are entered into the Additional Services expander.

      You can delete an existing transfer with the Delete icon .

  6. Click Save and Exit,

    Continue to add additional services to the static package,

    OR,

    Continue to add markup to the selling price of the static package.
