Setup - Definitions - Transaction Fee Description

This page is used to create transaction fee descriptions. A transaction fee description is used to provide additional information regarding a specific transaction fee.

When a transaction fee is added to a travel file, either automatically or manually, the description associated with the transaction fee is displayed in the Transaction Fee section of the travel file (in the Details column) and in the invoice.

Each transaction fee description is associated with a transaction fee event. The same event can have more than one description.

Example:

The event Add Service can be associated with two descriptions: one pertaining to a hotel service and one pertaining to a flight service.
