Editing the validity of a static package

This topic explains how to edit the validity of a static package, and is also included in the process of creating a new static package.

If you are in the process of creating a new static package, skip to step 3.

  1. Search for the static package you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the static package.

  3. The Details tab of the static package is displayed.
     
  4. In the General expander, in the Validity section:
    1. In the Booking date and Until fields, define the date range in which the static package can be reserved.

    2. In the Reservations System, the static package only appears in the search results, when customers or users search for a static package during the time period you define in these fields.

    1. In the Departure From and To fields, define the date range for the static package departure. When creating a new package, these are mandatory fields.

The departure date is:

  • Always the date of the first actual departure according to the weekday selected.

  • The date used for day one of the static package.

  • Used to check the validity of the service contracts included in the static package.

  • Used to define the first day of the first season in the Prices tab.

 

    1. Check the One-Time Package flag for single start and end date.

    2. If the flag is not checked, it is possible to add multiple date bands within a single package.

    3. If the static package has only one departure date, select One-Time Package .

    4. In the Week Days field, select the week days on which the static package departs.

    5. In the Completion Date field, select the date on which the static package must end.

  1. Click Save and Exit, or continue to edit the display definitions of the static package.
