Adding an activity contract to a static package

This topic explains how to add an activity contract to a static package, and is also included in the process of creating a new static package. The activity contract is defined in Products - Contracts.

In the Reservations System, it is possible to reserve optional activity services for any day or days in the static package day range regardless of the day defined for the activity service in the Additional Services expander.

However, when an activity is defined with an allocation for a specific date, the date of the activity cannot be changed by the passenger.

If you are in the process of creating a new static package, skip to step 4.

  1. Search for the static package you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit icon in the row of the static package.

    The Details tab of the static package is displayed.

  3. Select the Services tab.

  4. Access the Additional Services expander.

  5. In the row beneath Car, Activities, Restaurant and General, click Click here to add a new item.

    The Product List page is displayed.

    1. Enter the relevant search parameters for the activity contract, and click Find.

      2. Parameter

      Description
      Product type Select Activity.
      Destination The destination of the activity contract. This is a mandatory field.

      Name

      The contract name

      Supplier

      The supplier of the activity contract

      Category

      		 The category of the activity contract

      Price Level

      		 The price level of the activity contract

      Activity contracts matching the search criteria are displayed in the results section.

      Results include both regular and package rates. If the activity contract has a regular rate and a package rate for the same price level, only the package rate are included in the results.

    2. Click the Plus icon + in the row of the required activity contract.

    3. In the Day number field, select the day number of the static package on which the activity takes place.

    4. Enter the start and end times for the activity:

      • In the Time field, enter the start time (according to a 24-hour clock).

      • In the To field, enter the end time (according to a 24-hour clock).

    5. Click Done.

    6. Click Close at the bottom of the list.

    The activity is entered into the Additional Services expander.

    You can delete an existing activity with the Delete icon .

  6. In the Included/Optional field, select whether the service is included in the selling price of the static package or offered at additional cost.

  7. Click Save and Exit,

    OR,

    Continue to add additional services to the static package,

    OR,

    Continue to add markup to the selling price of the static package.
