This page is used for defining default settings relating to travel files.
Login user: Select the default user assigned to new travel files that are opened in the B2C and B2B selling channels. This is also the user that is attached to automatic actions not performed by a specific user.
Freelancer: Select the default freelancer assigned to new travel files.
Default travel agent/corporate client: Select the default travel agent or corporate client to be assigned to white label sites. The payment terms for that travel agent or corporate client must be cash.
Travel file: Select the default attribute to be associated with new travel files that are opened.

This attribute can be overridden by the travel file attribute defined for specific travel products (static package, self-operation tour, bundled package) or for specific services, such as escorted tours. |
Select an option for which travel files should be displayed on the List of Travel Files page:
View last <x> travel files: The page will display most recent travel files opened. Enter how many travel files to display.
Initialize list with travel file departures commencing today and thereafter: The page will display travel files in which the start date is the current date or in the future.
Select this option to display the Map button in the B2E travel file. The Map button opens a map in which you can view flight routes, hotel locations, car pick-up and drop-off stations, and the address of the first passenger in the travel file. You can also use the map button to view directions between service locations in the travel file.
B2B only. Select this option to display the EOB Mail to Client option in the Itinerary menu, allowing B2B users to send EOB e-mails from the travel file.
B2C only. Select this option to display cancelled services in the travel file.
B2C only. Select this option to display the Payment Options section in B2C travel files opened from EOB e-mail messages.
When this option is selected the option Display left to pay is selected and disabled.
In B2E travel files, you have the option of enabling users to send a confirmation form by e-mail to the customers. To view the confirmation form, customers will receive a link which opens the travel file with the B2C layout. When this option is selected, customers will be able to independently confirm the transactions and pay for them using a credit card and/or gift cards.
B2C only. Select this option to display the Left to Pay row in B2C travel files.
In B2E travel files, you have the option of enabling users to send a confirmation form by e-mail to the customers. To view the confirmation form, customers will receive a link which opens the travel file with the B2C layout. If there is any amount that is left to pay in the B2E travel file, if this option is selected, it will appear in the B2C travel file the customer views.
B2C only. Select this option to open new travel files for customers who abandon the booking process after entering their details in the Passenger Details page, and clicking Continue. These travel files can be used to track the customer abandonment and potentially regain them, which will help improve the conversion rate.
The travel files have the status In-process and a new Abandonment sub-status.
The travel files are placed in a new Abandonment queue.
The travel file contains the passenger details entered and transactions for all services selected.
The status of all the transactions is None.
The travel file does not contain any transaction fees (for example, for opening a new travel file)
No reservations are created for the transactions.
No documents are issued.
The Left to pay field is initialized with the total selling price of all transactions created in the travel file.
If reservations are created for any of the transactions or a financial document is issued:
The status of the travel file is changed to Open.
The travel file is removed from the Customer abandonment queue.
Automatic transaction fees are created, if applicable rules exist (for example, for opening a new booking or adding transactions to the travel file).
B2B and B2C only. Select this option to display the Communications section in B2B and B2C travel files. If this option is not selected, the Communications section will be hidden in B2B and B2C travel files.
B2E only. Select this option to display the Approve options in the Actions menu for proposal transactions.
