This tab is used to display the financial activity of the flight - summarized according to the purchases, sales, and profitability. In addition, this tab is used to perform actions relating to the purchase and sale of seats on the flight. It is also used to make purchases and sales of miscellaneous items not directly related to seats on the flight (e.g. transaction fee, ticketing fee).
This tab is only used with self-operation flights with the Profit Mechanism.
The details displayed in this tab are based on the actions performed in the Classes tab (buy, sell, and transfer).
This tab includes three tables:
Purchases: This table contains details on purchases, and also includes action buttons relevant to the purchase of seats on the flight.
Sales: This table contains details on sales, and also includes action buttons relevant to the sale of seats on the flight.
Summary: This table combines the financial details from the previous two tables and displays profitability figures for the flight.

The type of purchase:

The number of seats purchased (either total or according to supplier). |
Price P/S |
The average price paid for a seat. Note that on this page, prices are displayed according to the supplier and currency and not according to class. |
Price |
The total price of the seats (Seats x Price P/S). |
Currency |
The currency of the price. Note that the currency is displayed according to the value selected in the Currency drop-down list (system currency or other). The default option is Original currency. |
Tax |
The total amount of tax paid to the supplier for all seats. |
Total |
The total price for all the seats including tax (Price + Tax). |
Paid |
Indicates whether a voucher has been issued to the supplier for the seats. In the Total from suppliers row, the number of paid/unpaid purchases is displayed (e.g. 1/3). If a voucher has been issued for the seats, a If a voucher has not yet been issued for the seats, the Pay button is displayed in the last column. See below for instructions on how to pay for seats (issue a voucher). |
Select Include refunds to include the refund amounts (if any) in the Total purchases amount.
The Total purchases row displays the sum total of the figures displayed above.
Note that the sum total is displayed only if all purchase amounts are in the same currency. |
Click Pay in the row displaying the seats for which a voucher needs to be issued.
The Edit Payment dialog window is displayed.
The fields in the Pricing section are initialized with the details of the seats purchased.
Note that even for the same supplier, separate vouchers need to be issued if seats were purchased in different currencies. |
In the Pay with section, select Voucher or Payment requisition.
In the For field, if required, enter free text.
In the Payment due field, select the date on which payment is due for the voucher.
Click OK.
A will be displayed in the Paid column and a link for issuing
a refund will now be displayed instead of the Pay
button.
Click the Refund link in the relevant row.
The New Refund dialog window is displayed.
Define the relevant fields.
Click Issue or Approve.
The refund is issued.

Click the Refund link in the relevant row. The New Refund dialog window is displayed. All fields in the dialog window (other than Remark) are initialized according to the invoice issued to the travel agent.
If required, edit any of the relevant fields.
In the Remark field, if required, enter free text.
Click Issue.
A credit invoice is issued to the travel agent.
The figures displayed in this section are the net amounts of those displayed in the previous two sections, Purchases and Sales, and are a reflection of the flight's profitability.
Select Include debit/credit note to include the amounts of these documents in the Forecasted Profit amount.
Select Include agent commission to include the commission given to travel agents in the Forecasted Profit amount.
To purchase a miscellaneous item:
Click the Pay button at the top of the page. The Edit Payment dialog window will be displayed.
Enter details in the relevant fields.
Click OK.
The amount of the purchase will be added to the Other purchases amount displayed in the Purchases section.
Click the Debit button at the top of the page.
The Issue Invoice dialog window is displayed.
Enter details in the relevant fields.
Click OK.
The amount of the invoice is added to the Other sales amount displayed in the Sales section.
