Online hotel display rules allow you to define how hotels received from online content suppliers are displayed in the Reservations System. Rather than displaying the hotel "as is" according to the online supplier record, the online hotel display rules enable you to display hotel information from online suppliers in the same format as hotel information from internal contracts.
Only content interfaces can be managed in this module.
The online hotel display rules are applied by comparing
the name of the hotel returned from the interface with the name
of the hotel in the rule. The name does not need to be case sensitive
and punctuation marks are ignored. |
An online hotel display rule can be created using one of the following methods:

Use this method when your display rule does not include a local static content definitions. The term local static content definition refers to static information on the hotel (images, descriptions, facilitiies, etc.), existing either in your local database or in the online supplier's records. |
