Online Hotel Display Rules - Get Hotels

You can Get Hotels from an online supplier and create for them online display rules. The import process allows you to search for hotels in a specific destination and import them into the Online hotel display rules module. This allows you to customize how the hotel is displayed in the Reservations system - to promote strong hotels, unpublish weak hotels, and customize which information appears in the hotel record.

 To import hotels from a specific destination into the online hotel display rules module

1. Go to Products – Online Hotel Display Rules

2. Click Get Hotels.

   The Get Hotels page is displayed.

3. In the Destination field, select the destination of the hotel(s) from the drop-down list. This is a mandatory field.

4. In the Online Supplier field, select the online supplier of the hotel(s) from the drop-down list. This is a mandatory field.

5. Select the reservation date range. By default, the reservation date range is three nights starting two months from the current day.

6. Click Find.

   Hotels matching the search parameters are displayed.

7. Select the hotels for which you want edit the online display details. Hotels not selected are displayed according to the online supplier record.

8. Click Done.

   Online hotel display rules are created for the selected hotels, and displayed in the results section of the online hotel display rules main page.

9. Click in the row of the online hotel display rule, you want to edit.

   The details of the online hotel display rule are displayed in the New item page.

10. Edit the online hotel display rule.

    When editing the online hotel display rule, you can import static information on the hotel (images, descriptions, facilitiies, etc.) from the online supplier's database. Select Local Static Content Definitions, and click Import.
