This page is used to define a new online hotel display rule for a hotel supplied by an online supplier.

In the Hotel Name field, enter the name of the hotel as it appears exactly in the online supplier record. This is a mandatory field.
In the Destination field, select the destination of the hotel from the drop-down list.
In the Online Supplier field, select the online supplier of the hotel from the drop-down list. This is a mandatory field.

Only suppliers defined as online suppliers are displayed in this drop-down list. |
Select the relevant display definitions for the hotel:
In the Prioritized hotels field, select the priority by which to display the hotel.
Select Always on top to always display the hotel first, regardless of the sorting method in the Reservations System.

If you want the Always on top definition to apply only to specific configurations, in the Always on top applicable configurations section:

Select Unpublish to not display the hotel in the Reservations System.
If required, select Local location definition to display all the hotel details as provided by the online supplier except for the location. The location is selected in this field.
After selecting this option, the Location drop-down list is be displayed.
Select the required location from the list.
This is the location according to which the hotel is displayed in the Reservations System.
To add existing hotel details from your local database:
In the Hotel extended details source field, select one of the following options:

Local: The hotel details are taken from Setup - Product Definitions - Hotels
External: The hotel details are taken from the online supplier.
Upon online supplier definitions: Depending on what is selected in Setup - Website Definitions - Content - Online Suppliers for that specific online supplier, the hotel details can be taken either from the online supplier or Setup - Product Definitions - Hotels.
Click Select hotel.
The Select Hotel page is displayed.

A hotel must first be defined in Setup - Product Definitions - Hotels in order to appear in this dialog box. Note that all hotels defined in Products - Contracts are also displayed automatically in Setup - Product Definitions - Hotels. |
Mandatory. In the Name field, enter the hotel name, or the beginning part of the hotel name.
Click Find.
The hotel is displayed.
Click Select.
Existing hotel details from your local database are imported into the Online Hotel Display Rule page and into the following three expanders:
General
Hotel facilities and description
Price Level facilities and description
Edit the details as required.
If you want the system to always display hotels from internal contracts when content interfaces return hotels that already exist in internal contracts, select Prefer always internal content. If you select this option hotels from content interfaces are only displayed for hotels that do not exist internally, or for hotels that do not have any allocations defined in the contract.
Click Save.

If required, click to delete the local static content definition and have the hotel displayed only according to the online supplier record. |
