Translating Hotel Entries

This topic explains how to translate the hotel names, information and price levels that appear in the Reservations System.

  1. Go to Setup - Definitions - Entry Translation.

  2. In the Language field, select from the drop-down list the target language into which you want to translate the original entries.

  3. In the Entry Type field, select Hotels.

  4. A Destination field appears

  5. If relevant, in this field enter the hotel destination.

  6. If relevant, in the Original Entry field, enter all or part of a specific entry you want to search for.

  7. Click Find.

    All the hotel entries are displayed.

  8. Click the first Original Entry name to translate.

    The row is highlighted.

  9. In the Translation field, enter the translated entry.

  10. To translate the hotel information, click , and select Hotel Information.

    The hotel Information dialog box appears.

  11. Enter the translation and click Ok.

  12. To translate the price level information, click , and select Price Level Information.

    The Price Level Information dialog box appears

  13. Enter the translation, and click Ok.

  14. Click to save or to revert.

  15. Repeat steps 5-11 for all additional entries.
