Translating Database Entries (not including hotel)

This topic explains how to translate database entries that are displayed in the Reservations System (not including hotels).

The database entries that can be translated include:

  1. Go to Setup - Definitions - Entry Translation.

  2. In the Language field, select from the drop-down list the target language into which you want to translate the original entries.

  3. In the Entry Type field, select from the drop-down list the type of database entries that you want to translate.

  4. If you select Category, Price Level, or Price Component, a new Service Type field is displayed in which you can search for entries belonging to specific service types.

  5. If relevant, in the Original Entry field, enter all or part of a specific entry you want to search for.

  6. Click Find.

    The database entries are displayed.

  7. To translate a database entry, in the Original Entry column, click on the entry you want to translate.

    The row is highlighted.

  8. In the Translation field, enter the translated entry.

  9. Click to save or to revert.

  10. Repeat steps 5-7 for all additional entries.
