  • This payment gateway is supported in the following countries only: Canada, England, and U.S.A.

  • Ensure that the relevant configuration is selected in the Configuration name field before defining any option on this page.

  • Click Save after updating any option on this page.

I. Configuration

  1. In the Active credit card module field, select PayPal Payflow Pro from the drop-down list.

  2. In the Password field, enter the password as supplied to you by PayPal.

  3. In the Vendor field, enter details as supplied to you by PayPal.

  4. In the Partner field, enter details as supplied to you by PayPal.

    The details in the above three fields will be identical regardless of the currency used for payment.

  5. In the Live URL field, enter the URL (supplied to you by PayPal) to be used for the payment gateway.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Following the successful implementation of the payment gateway, it is recommended to display the PayPal company logo in the footer of your website to inform customers that a reputable payment gateway is used in your website.

    See Setup - Website Definitions - UI Design for instructions on how to display the logo in the website footer. Note that the footer must be defined in each relevant configuration and sub-configuration.

II. URL Testing

  1. Select the Test Mode option.

  2. In the Test URL field, enter the URL (supplied to you by PayPal) to be used for testing the payment gateway.

  3. Click Save.

III. Multi-Currency Configuration

  1. A separate PayPal account must be defined for each currency in use with PayPal.

  1. Click Click here to add a new currency/account.

  2. In the Currency field, select the currency from the drop-down list.

  3. In the Account field, enter the PayPal account number to be associated with the currency.

  4. Click Save.

IV. Special notes

  1. The amount the receipt is issued on, is the amount returned from PayPal Payflow Pro. If the gateway returns a different amount, this is registered in the Travel File log.
