Credit companies are those from which you can accept payment made by B2B and B2C customers using credit and debit cards. Each credit company is associated with a credit or debit card company hardcoded into the system, and a company bank account into which the payment is deposited.
For example, Visa USD is associated with Visa, and the JP Morgan Chase USD account.
Note that once a credit company is associated with financial activity, it cannot be deleted. |
Go to Setup – Business Environment - Credit Companies.
In the Credit Company field, enter part (first letters) or all of the credit company name.
Click Find.
Credit companies matching the search criterion will be displayed in the results section.
Go to Setup – Business Environment - Credit Companies.
Click Click here to add a new credit company.
In the Credit Name field, enter the name of the credit company.
In the Credit Company field, select one credit card companies, hardcoded in the system, to associate with the credit company.
In the Bank Account field, select the bank account to associate with the credit company from the drop-down list.
In the Credit/Debit field select whether the credit company is associated with credit cards or debit cards.
Click
to save the new credit company or
to revert.
Locate the credit company you want to edit as described above.
Click the credit company name.
The name is highlighted.
Edit the credit company details as required.
Click
to save or
to revert.
Locate the credit company you want to copy as described above.
Click in the row of the credit
company name.
A new credit company is created with the following name:
[Name of original credit company] [duplicate number in current session]
Edit the details of the new credit company.
Click
to save or
to revert.
Locate the credit company you want to delete as described above.
Click
in the row of the credit company name.
The following message is displayed:
Click Yes to delete.
