Harel cancellation insurance

The Harel Insurance Group is Israel's largest insurance provider and used by Israeli travel companies who need to provide insurance to passengers travelling abroad.

Travel agents who want to sell trip cancellation insurance need to connect to the Harel interface where they will complete the process of requesting insurance. After the request is approved by the interface, you will need to manually add the amount and commission to the transaction, and issue the voucher (the full workflow is detailed below).

This interface is separate from the Harel interface used for issuing travel insurance.

The activation of this interface requires a separate commercial agreement with Harel.

 

Insurance transactions do not impact the travel file balance. Payment is carried out directly between Harel and the traveler.

 

The Client Payment Method of the insurance transaction is automatically defined as Credit Supplier, meaning that the payment is performed directly with the insurance company. The credit voucher issued for the transaction is used to reconcile the commission due to the travel agent for this sale (from the insurance company).

 

Setting up the interface

  1. Create a supplier account for the Harel cancellation insurance.

  2. In the Online Supplier expander, in the CRS Interface field, select HarelCancelFee.

  3. Select Active.

  4. Click the link in the text: Click Here to update interface properties.

  6. Click Save in the dialog box.

  7. Click Save in the supplier account.

Creating insurance transactions in the travel file

  1. In the travel file, create a manual insurance transaction.

  2. In the Insurance Details tab, enter the insurance dates and select the Harel cancellation insurance supplier.

    3. A new Link to Harel button is displayed.

  3. Click Link to Harel.

    4. You will be redirected to the Harel website where you will receive instructions on how to complete the process of requesting insurance. After the process is completed on the Harel website, you will be returned to the manual transaction. The transaction information is inserted into all relevant fields.

    No policy is issued.

  4. Enter the transaction amounts and commission.

  5. Issue the voucher.
