This topic explains how to add a sub-allocation to a hotel contract.
A sub-allocation is a quantity of rooms that you transfer from your own allocation to a travel agent to sell on your behalf.
These rooms are deducted from the quantity of rooms allocated to you by the supplier.
Before you can add sub-allocations, you need to have an existing allocation already defined in the hotel contract. |
In the contract, select the Allocation tab.
In the Agent field, click the Add Agent button.
The Add Agent Allocation dialog box is displayed.
In the Add Agent field, select the travel agent you want to sub-allocate rooms to.
In the Date Range section, in the From - To fields, select the date range for which you have an allocation.
If the allocation does not apply to specific days in the week, clear the days of the week in which there is no allocation.
In the Add/Reduce Rooms section, in the Add field, enter how many rooms you want to sub-allocate.
Click OK.
The rooms are now sub-allocated to the travel agent and deducted from your allocation.
To display the rooms sub-allocated to the travel agent in the calendar, in the Agent field select the travel agent.
Click Save.
