Tracking changes in discount rules

This topic explains how to track changes in discount rules.

The track changes report is a report that allows you to view recent changes to contracts according to  date, action, and user who made the change. This is useful for managing rules, allowing the user to know when the rules was last updated, and what was updated.

  1. Go to Business Rules - Discount Definitions.

  2. Above the search results table, click the Track Changes button.

  3. The Track Changes dialog box appears.

  4. In the Report Definitions section, enter the report parameters.

    Description

    Date

    Until

    Select the date range for which you want to track changes made to the discount rule.

    Type

    Select the type of changes you want to display:

    • All: All changes

    • Add: New rules added

    • Delete: Existing rules that were deleted

    • Modify: Existing rules that were modified

    Changed by

    Select the user who made the changes to the rule.

  5. Click Generate Report.

    The Track Changes report is displayed below.

  6. To close the report, click Close
