Setup - Product Definitions - Seasons

To access and perform actions in the module:

Assign the permit Update Setup Menus

In a product contract, a season refers to a date range during which one or more price levels are in effect. A season must always be associated with a market.

A new installation includes a number of predefined season names.

To search for an existing season

  1. Go to SetupProduct Definitions - Seasons.

  2. In the Season field, enter part (first letters) or all of the season name.

  3. Click Find.

    Seasons matching the search criterion are displayed in the results section.

To add a new season

  1. Go to SetupProduct Definitions - Seasons.

  2. Click Click here to add a new season.

  3. In the Season field, enter the season name.

  4. Click to save the new season or to revert.

To edit an existing season

  1. Locate the season you want to edit as described above.

  2. Click the season name.

    The name is highlighted.

  3. Edit the season name as required.

  4. Click to save or to revert.

To copy an existing season

  1. Locate the season you want to copy as described above.

  2. Click in the row of the season name.

    A new season is created with the following name:

    [Name of original season] [duplicate number in current session]

  3. Edit the name of the new season.

  4. Click to save or to revert.

To delete an existing season

  1. Locate the season you want to delete as described above.

    Do not delete a season that is already associated with a product contract.

  2. Click in the row of the season name.

    The following message is displayed:
