Purchasing a gift card in the B2C selling channel

This topic explains how B2C customers can purchase gift cards from the travel company's website.

The page used for purchasing a gift card in B2C mode is accessed via a deep link.

To access the page, the following deep link syntax is appended to the B2C site URL: Booking/Documents/IssueGiftCard.aspx

Following is an example of the entire URL used for accessing the B2C gift card page:

  1. In the For field, enter the name of the gift card recipient.

  2. In the E-mail field, enter the e-mail address of the gift card recipient.

  3. In the Amount field, enter the gift card amount.

  4. In the Currency field, select the currency of the gift card from the drop-down list.

  5. In the Personal Message field, enter message text that will be printed on the gift card.

  6. In the From field, enter the name that will be displayed in the From field on the printed gift card.

  7. In the E-mail field, enter the e-mail address of the customer purchasing the gift card.

  8. Click Continue.

  9. Enter the credit card details of the customer purchasing the gift card.

    The gift card is displayed. The gift card details are also sent automatically to the gift card recipient's e-mail address.
