Copying an existing discount rule

This topic explains how to copy an existing discount rule.

  1. Go to Business Rules – Discount Definitions.

  2. Enter the search parameters.

    Field

    Description

    Direct Sale/Travel Agent

    Select the target of the discount definition rule:

    • Direct Sale

    • Travel Agent and the name of the travel agent the discount definition rule applies to

    Start Date

    The start date range of the tour

    Category

    The tour category

    Destination

    The tour destination

    Code1

    The code1 of the self-operation tour

    Price Level

    The price level of the self-operation tour

    Travel File Attributes

    The travel file attribute of the self-operation tour

  3. Click Find.

    Discounts matching the search criteria are displayed in the results section.

  4. In the row of the discount rule you want to copy, click the Copy icon .

    The New item page is displayed for the discount rule with the same parameters as the rule you copied.

  5. Edit the discount rule as required.
