The system includes functionality to import PNR records from a GDS directly into the local database. The PNR record can be located in the Reservations System and then converted to a travel file, after which additional services can be added. In the Reservations System this appears under the tools menu as GDS to TB.
This page includes database definitions relevant to this functionality
There are 3 options:
None: Do not activate this feature

If None is selected, the GDS Locator section is hidden on the Dashboard. |
Use 'GDS to TB' from files: Select this option for websites with self-hosting. In the Directory for saving files field, enter the path to the folder one level above the folder where the PNR files are saved on the server.

If the folder where the PNR records are stored is E:\Amadeus, you should enter into this field E:\ You need Read and Write permissions for this folder. |
Select Save files locally to save the a backup of all the PNR files on the database.
Use 'GDS to TB' from FTP: Select this options for websites that save PNR files to an FTP folder, and enter the FTP URL, user name and password. If the PNR files are not saved under the root directory, in the FTP PNR file directory field enter the FTP folder where the PNR files are saved.

To activate this feature in the Reservations System, in the Website Definitions, in Content - Reservations Systems, in the Active GDS section, make sure that the GDS is selected. In the website definitions page for the selected GDS, in the Active Services section, select Flight. |
