Financial - Export Data to General Ledger - Accounts Setup

The Accounts - Setup tab is used for defining the general ledger account numbers corresponding to the accounts in your system.

 To define a general ledger account

  1. Go to Financial - Export Data to General Ledger - Accounts - Setup.

  2. In the Account field, select the type of accounts you need to define.

  3. If required - in the Account Name field - enter part (first letters) or all of the account name.

    Only accounts with missing general ledger account no. is selected by default in order to locate only those accounts without a corresponding general ledger number.

    After the initial setup, this option can be unselected in order to locate an existing, defined account.

  4. Click Find.

    Accounts matching the search criteria are displayed in the results section.

  5. Click the account to define.

    A corresponding field is displayed in the General Ledger Account Number column.

  6. Enter the general ledger account number.

    If the general ledger account number of a bank account ends with MMYY, when exporting data to the general ledger these characters are replaced with the value date of the financial document for the row which is being exported.

    If the general ledger account number of a bank account ends with CR, when exporting data to the general ledger these characters are replaced with the currency code of the financial document in the row which is being exported.

  7. Click Save.

To edit a general ledger account

  1. Locate the general ledger account number you want to edit as described above.

  2. Click the account name.

  1. Edit the general ledger account number.

  1. Click Save.
