This topic explains how to change the flight reservation details of manual flight transactions, flight transactions created by ALP, or flight transactions created through OP_SET_PAXFILE.
The reservation details that can be changed are:
Origin
Destination
Departure date and time
Arrive date and time
Airline
Flight number
Changing the airline does not change the supplier paid in the transaction |
Go to Operations - Flight Reservations, and select the Manual Flight Res. tab.

Find the flights with the details you want to change by entering the following parameters:

Flights matching the search criteria are displayed in the search results.

Select the flights with the details you want to change.
The search results do not include cancelled or closed flight transactions. |

When changing the details of multiple flights, you can only select flights with the same departure date and flight number. |
Click the New Flight Details link.
The Flight Details dialog box is displayed.

The fields in the dialog box are initialized from the flight transaction selected.
In the relevant fields, update the details of the flight.
In the Message name field, select the message to be sent to the passengers.
In the Add to queue field, select the queue to which the travel file should be added after the flight details are change.
Click Done
The following dialog box is displayed.

To change the flight details, click Yes.
The system performs the following actions:
The flight details are changed according to the details entered in the dialog box.
If a ticket was issued for the flight, it is resent to the airline with the new details.
If the travel file contains a package or escorted tour, the voucher is resent to the supplier with the updated flight details.
An e-mail message is sent to the passengers with an updated itinerary.
The travel file is entered into the relevant queues.
